Middle School White Mountains Trip
July 22-25, 2020 in New Hampshire
For those finishing 6th-8th grade; spots are limited
No experience necessary for this awesome trip to the White Mountains, where you’ll get to hike, bond, worship and play in the woods. We will be lodging in the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Joe Dodge Lodge, with all gear provided by their Youth Opportunities Program. Click here for a letter from Meredith Cough, trip leader, to find out more information about this summer’s trip.
Cost: The cost of the trip is $165. Please do not let cost be a barrier to participation – scholarships are available. Talk to your priest about financial aid, or reach out to Youth Missioner Sara D’Angio White at email@example.com. This trip is partially funded by a generous grant from the AMC YOP.
Equipment: Any equipment you may be missing like a back pack, hiking boots, rain gear, fleece jackets, etc. will be provided at no additional cost. An equipment checklist will be shared at a later date. We do not want anyone to have to buy unnecessary equipment, it is the mission of YOP AMC to get kids outdoors. So we have access to an extensive equipment room in which to borrow gear.
Registration for 2020 coming soon! This trip can take up to 14 youth, and registration is first-come, first-served. There will be four adult leaders.
